Q. Why should I sign up?

A.  The Fuelman program saves you time and money while providing you greater control of your business expenses.

Save Time. With the timely and comprehensive reporting Fuelman offers, you won’t have to chase paper receipts, track and reconcile driver purchases or gather tax documentation. Fuelman does it all for you. You can combine all your vehicles fuel and maintenance purchases on one consolidated invoice, and report.
Save Money. Fuelman saves money on your fuel expenses by reducing and reporting unauthorized purchases and by offering guaranteed fraud protection. Most Fuelman customers report savings of 10% or more on fuel expenses using Fuelman.

Q. How long will it take to process my application?

A.  It will take approximately 7 to 10 days to process an application and receive vehicle cards.

Q. Will I be notified if I am approved?

A.  Yes, approved applicants will be contacted by a Fuelman sales representative to set-up their accounts and help order all the Fuelman Fleet Cards needed for their business.

Q. How can I check on my application status?

A.  To check the status of an application, call 1-800-FUELMAN to speak with a Fuelman sales representative, Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST.

Q. Can I call someone about setting up my account?

A.  Call 1-800-FUELMAN to speak directly with a Fuelman sales representative.

Q. How long will it take to receive my cards?

A.  Once you have set-up your Fuelman account, it will take approximately 7 to 10 business days to receive your Fuelman Fleet Cards.

Q. What type of reporting will I receive?

A.  Fuelman offers a variety of fleet management reports showing all account activity, including summary reports, employee exception reports, department summaries, maintenance reports, and vehicle reports.

Q. What are the billing terms?

A.  Fuelman offers flexible billings terms right for any business. We individually review each customer’s needs to determine the appropriate credit and terms.

Q. What type of products can I purchase with my card?

A.  The Fuelman Fleet Cards are the only card you and your drivers need for fuel and maintenance purchases. Fuelman also offers Merchant Category Code (MCC) level spending controls – give different functional groups varied levels of purchasing capability (e.g. one card with spending flexibility for travel and expenses and another card that is authorized only for fuel at service stations).

Q. I want to see my driver’s transactions every day/week – can I do this?

A.  Fuelman offers an array of reporting packages, one of which gives the ability to view transaction in real-time.  Throughout our online systems, you can view your driver and vehicle transactions at anytime.

Q. Will the cards be linked to a driver or a vehicle?

A.  Yes, all Fuelman cards can be linked to a driver or a vehicle, and Fuelman offers the ability to require Driver IDs or Vehicle PINs with every transaction, as well as limit the amount spent per transaction, amount spent per day, and the number of transactions available within 24 hrs.

Q. How will I see my savings?

A.  Savings can be seen from the moment driver fuels to the totals on the fleet management reports.  In addition, the details about purchasing exceptions can be viewed real-time or in summary to assist in limiting expense.  Purchasing exceptions include:

·         Fuel grade

·         Driver PIN

·         Time of day

·         Day of week

·         Gallon limits

·         Unauthorized sites
·         Unauthorized purchases
